Because from the start I only had $250 for Amazon and as some people may know I can't spend any of my own money - therefore, I'm Macless - so I am restricted to under $250 - thats problem number one.
Then, I needed to buy 2 DVD-Audio R.E.M. CDs, because, lets face it, R.E.M. is the greatest band in the entire world. And now I got this mouse - I have like $150 remaining...
BUT I'm not buying speakers now... I want to save up for them and use a $100 best buy gift certificate with them.
How are you guys finding the Logitech software? When I bought my MX510 (with 8, count 'em 8 buttons ) I thought the software I downloaded absolutely sucked.
So I had to cough up an extra $20 for USB Overdrive which was actually a really good purchase but I would have liked to know that the included Logitech software was garbage before I made the initial mouse purchase.

I use MX1000 with my 15" PB running 10.3.9. That mouse is perfect among all mouse I have ever used. The software (or driver) for MX1000 works flawlessly with the Panther. I use Logitech MX900 BT for my 12" PB which runs Tiger. That mouse is good even though the software does not support Mac (only for Windows); but you can program a few buttons for Expose.
