After upgrading to iOS 16, I noticed that when switching between apps, more than half the time they have to reload. I thought this might be the usual post-upgrade sluggishness but it's been 10 days now. Looks like the new iOS leaves a lot less RAM available for apps than the previous one.

I'm hoping this is a bug that can be patched with a future update.

While I can't comment on this issue (I left my 11 on 14.5 because of the JB), generally, if one encounters problems like slowdown after MANY OTA updates, a complete reinstall MIGHT help. It did wonders to my 1st gen iPad Pro, which became uselessly slow after several OTA updates in IIRC iOS 15. When I reset and restored it (and set it up manually again, only restroing the non-file backup stuff from iCLoud), it was like completely brand new.
