Well, the time has come, I thought I would share some photos of my Mac Portables with you. I have two Portables, a M5120 and an M5126 with the backlit display. Both have rebuilt batteries, and function flawlessly. I have posted 14 photos (1-9 of the M5126) (10-14 of the M5120). Enjoy!!

And now the M5120 (no backlight):

^^^ I used to have that phone when I was kid. :)

Sweet machines, man. And I'm glad to see System 6 installed on a least one of them - I'm a big believer of running 6 if the machine supports it.

    The clear phone is actually older!! It's a 1980s model FunPhone™ :)

Me too. Those machines were really awesome - active matrix displays were a big, big deal back then.

Nice picts Ward, can you get 8-10 hrs on the batteries?

I used to love playing crystal quest on my MacPortable.

I'm sure you are running some AfterDark screen savers as well.

Does anyone remember the "Barney Blaster" screen module?
I was NOT allowed to play that in front of my young nieces/nephews back then.

What do RAM cards for those go for? I have a couple pulled loooong ago from working machines. Probably an instruction manual somewhere too if it could ever get unearthed.

The batteries last a long time once they are charged. They can sit for a long, long time and they don't lose their power. I will try to get some shots running After Dark, I have it installed on my M5126. The Fish module is great!!
