Why are they so willing to cancel the order? What kind of mac will I get? Why can't they tell me the first time when my computer will ship? This is not like Apple. What's holding this order up? I'm growing weary of Apple.

What part of the phrase "unexpected delay" is causing a problem?

You will get the kind of Mac that you ordered, most likely.

They are willing to Cancel the order in case you don't want to wait for the delayed delivery.

Shame on Apple for offering to Cancel your order!!

I can certainly understand that a delay in the order would cause you to become "weary" of Apple. Those unexpected delays are so existentially tiring.

Dude ! Take a chill pill ! Today is April 2nd , you really that upset you have to wait a few more days ? the cancel option is called a courtesy which is rare with companies the size of Apple ! Other companies I imagine make it a bit more difficult to cancel . Just sit tight.

"Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they aren't after you."

WOW! Your reading more into to this than I am!

I just don't understand how a company as large as Apple can give a delivery date and not own up to it. It's either on the shelf or not. In my business, I don't call my customer to schedule to install their custom window shade unless it's in my my hands and is in working order.

Lord Quit crying. Just a month ago we new Mac owners had to wait a month to get out iMacs. Ordered February 6 2013 received March 8th 2013. God Give them a little slack Dude.

Two words: **** happens. I would think the order cancellation is an automated option that pops up if there is a delay, in the event the delay is a longer period of time, like weeks or months.

But if it's a few days, chill.

As it says, it is an UNEXPECTED delay. How do you know that one hasn't been damaged and they have to build a new one? Or there is a problem with the courier?

It's not like they said it ships within 24 hours. They may have to build your one and the parts may be delayed / damaged etc.

Get over it.
