My 5S just crashed to the Apple logo. Cant get it to restore. Can anyone help?

My 5S just crashed to the Apple logo. Cant get it to restore. Can anyone help?
Im taking my family out of town tomorrow and cant get to a Apple store. Any ideas? Im trying a DFU restore but I keep getting a timed out error.

Any help is really appreciated
 
It recognizes the phone but says its passcode locked and can’t restore until I put the passcode in which is impossible. Im on the phone with AppleCare but they seems stumped also. :(
 
Looks like I got it resolved. Tried to restore it in a different USB port and it seemed to work. Man I feel relieved. :)
 
If that had happened with an Android phone, who would you have turned to for help? Nice to have Apple support and a cadre of loyal bloggers.

If you have a stock android phone, just call Google.

For Samsung, just call Samsung.

XDA forums is full of developers and are a huge asset

No clue with others but I have to imagine Moto would be google.

He would of done exactly what he had to do with his iPhone. :confused:
