I put additional ram in today to bring it up to 32 gb. Also hooked up my 6TB Western Digital Black housed in OWC Mercury Elite Pro. All in for $ 400 ( without external ). Im very happy. Special thanks to tsalex for advice. The reason I didn't go with the D700 was because of the countless stories I read of being cooked.
I have wireless keyboard and track pad but use them on the 5,1. I had issues of connecting when trying to use between the two machines. This spring when I can open the windows and do deep cleaning of den I will rethink what is going to go where. I have my Hackintosh sitting on shelf for now but will have setup as well. Anyway I've gone on long enough, here are a couple pics.
