So, yeah...I'm having issues. My 6+ crashes and freezes on me randomly and it gets annoying! Sometimes the "Swipe To Answer" when getting a phone call doesn't work or respond. Sometimes the phone will freeze up when I'm trying to respond to a text message. I have to push the sleep button and then wake it up again to get it unfroze. I have restored the phone twice so far and two different ways were done.

First I restored as a new phone by erasing all content and data and the connecting it to iTunes and setting the phone up as a new phone. The second way (done last night) was connecting the iPhone to iTunes and restored phone to factory settings and allowing iTunes to download a fresh copy of 8.1 to the iPhone. I then got on the App Store and downloaded selected apps to the phone and set it up as new that way. I talked to Jason (senior advisor at Apple) and they ran diagnostics on the phone. The said the crashes were software related.

However I'm not as convenced that it is just software. Anyway I was just curious if any of you are having this problem. The link below , a section of Tech21's website, crashes my iPhone. I setup a genius bar appointment for tomorrow. Can you guys check the link below and scroll down to the bottom of the page to see output 6+ crashes or not?

Yup, that link crashes mine in Safari when I scroll to the bottom. My 6+ has otherwise been working perfectly.

I'm sure it is software related, in the way that it is something Apple needs to fix. Your data is probably OK. I'd wait and see what the next iOS update brings. I hope more bug fixes then 8.1 did.

Yeah I've been getting a lot of random crashes and non responsiveness. Can't pull up control panel on lock screen, lots of apps crashing including apple apps, glitches like everything rotates except the keyboard so content and keyboard are in different orientation. Doesn't really bug me, but it's the glut best phone/iOS yet for me. Still love the phone though.

Yes mine also crashes when viewing the bottom of that website. My phone also crashes when viewing creepypasta.com. I have No idea why.

Mine didn't crash but the webpage kept giving an error and reloading, never even reaching the bottom

Web site works perfectly on Chrome, but does not load properly on Safari. Another reason why I don't use Safari.

Ive had blue screening, red screen and crushing. The crashing happens daily. I have to renter my password as it sets it back to a restart screen.

There's an article about this on the main page here. I don't think Apple has acknowledged this yet. They believe it's a hardware issue affecting primarily the 6 + 128GB's. Mine doesn't do it but it is something of concern, since you might end up having to get the phone replaced.

OP, take it to your local Apple store and have a genius look at it.

The theory is that it affects 128GB owners that have a lot of data stored.

I have 80% free on my 128GB 6+ at the moment but it has been very stable, no crashes, no reboots, safari may have crashed once in 3 weeks i've had it

I haven't had any reboots but maybe chrome will crash every other day for me. Slightly annoying and just a reminder that I have too many open apps taking up ram. That's what I assume is causing the crashing, as it seems to fix it

Off topic: I LOVE the tech21 cases.

I was looking for a case and the Genius showed me a tech21. He dropped the phone from shoulder height and no damage. Then he did it again. I told him I was sold and he could stop dropping the phone :) and he did it again. This time it landed flat on the front, didn't bounce, and made a different kind of noise. We looked at each other and he picked it up gingerly. No damage. :D If you want the same demo with my case I'll put it on your phone for you. :p

The only problem on my ip plus is google chrome , it loads half page only i dont know if its google app or anything,i keep it because the bookmarks.

Me too. A lot of times control panel won't pull up in lock screen.

I find it crashes a lot of apps too. Sometimes I'll go back into an app and it loads up as if I just opened it. The music app has frozen on me twice when I was playing music. It would be playing fine but you couldn't pause it from the mic button or from the lock screen and the song info would be for the last song playing not the current one. I was forced to quit the music app to fix it.

The podcast app always get's stuck on "processing" whenever I download a new podcast. The only way to fix it is to restart the phone.

And lastly, the message app gets stuck sometimes too where the keyboard won't come up or you can't even back out of a message. You have to quit the app and reload it to fix it.

Not sure if these are 6 or 6+ issues or iOS issues.

Not having any issues with my 6+ at all with freezing.

My Plus froze and eventually restarted when I scrolled to the bottom of the webpage, I am on 8.1.1.

I think my 6+ froze only once since owning it. So far its been very stable.

Only when it has too much to load all at once, like my Skype. I usually restart my Skype 2-3 times before lag/freeze goes away. Not a big deal. Everything else is fluid and smooth. One time my Alien Blue app crashed on a certain post numerous times (due to it having too many people viewing at once & so many words and comments being posted live time) but it was just on that particular post. Didn't exactly see a problem other than those, and it's really fine with me.
