Today I bought 6S+ 128GB on ATT Next. During first restore from backup something went wrong and not all apps synced, and for some reason some apps were super laggy. Like if I press on address book, it would not respond at all, and then in 2-3 seconds would open it. So I decided to restore to factory setting. And once I restored I got a message from iTunes that my phone has been unlocked! Very interesting how it happened? Anyone have done the same and got unlocked message?

Very interesting! Could it be locked back or if it's unlocked it's unlocked?

Thanks! The thing is I have that "famous" darkening on the screen in the lower left corner...thinking of exchanging it...but who knows if the new one will be better or not? what a gamble

na, once its unlocked, it carries over to your replacement.

It should carry over to your replacement.

Awesome! I know Sprint is now unlocking phones as long as its paid off and you ask of course. Lucky you!

SO, today exchanged my 6S+ plus due to dark spots on the screen. Got way better screen, however this one is not unlocked! So it didn't carry over!
