My 8+ doesn’t show the LTE/4G+ symbol: why is that?

Guys I was trying to figure out one thing, please help me.
My sim and my carrier both support mobile navigation in LTE/4G+, but on my 8+ I only see 4G and never LTE or 4G +.
On my "old" android phone It was always shown with no problem (so I’m positive is not really the sim or carrier the problem here)!!!
In settings I set 4G for mobile and voice both, but I never find the LTE/4G+ in any other menu.

Sorry if question may be trivial, but it's my first iPhone.

Searching on Google after almost 15 minutes I found a post, in a known blog, dated March 2017, in which the writer says the iPhone 4G+ or LTE-A icon will not be displayed on the iPhone, but it refers to iPhone 6s and 7.

The only way to figure it out is to launch a speed test and compare the test result with 4G+ speeds.
Can it be the same on my 8+?

I'd say the 8+ will show the same as 6s, 7 etc... Are your speeds LTE like speeds?

The test result is 65 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.
You have to consider that I'm at home now.
It’s “too slow” to be considered a LTE speed.
I’ll try tomorrow downtown....

im pretty sure 65mb/s is LTE.

Launched Speedtest this morning, last results showed 84,24 mb/s download speed and 9,84 mb/s upload speed.
I guess you were right.
