I'll never understand the allurement to this band. It's not that great and it was the most uncomfortable band I tried on today.

I tried all the bands and the Milanese was the most comfortable by far. I could make it as tight or loose as I wanted. And the end doesn't slip out making easier to put on than the leather band.

Once I saw that the Milanese loop was $50 cheaper to buy with the watch than separately, I had to get it. I almost didn't.

Sorry you missed out but I'm sure you'll get it straightened out.

I'm British and thought the Milanese was the worst band I've used. It doesn't sit flat on your wrist because of the loop, feels quite loose, and the way it bulks up at the loop is so un-Apple-like. I thought I was going to love it till I saw it in person.

It certainly sat very flat on my wrist. How could it feel loose? You can tighten it as much or little as you want. I can't even begin to believe a word you say.

I just bit the bullet and ordered a Milanese Loop bracelet. I've seen the shipping date keep fluctuating from May to June and back, hopefully it comes sooner rather than later. I wonder if they'll have bands at the store to purchase?

I didn't have the balls to order the Milanese loop. Now that I've seen the photos from MacRumors forum members, I'm consumed with agonising regret.

I'll order one separately, but the shipping is listed as "May".

[I'm British. We like exaggerating. We think it's funny. Please don't tell me that the Holocaust was worse than this and I should be ashamed of myself. Like you did last time.]

The milanese loop band did look nice, however the band was super long on my wrist. It should have been called milanese loop overlap. :p
Wonder why they didn't have 2 sizes like they do on the Sport band, especially considering it costs more.

I think they think it's like chainmail, something the Knights of Arthur, or at least of Monty Python would wear.

It feels lose because of the nature of the loop. You don't need to believe me, but I feel like it's functionally a poor band, and the lack of symmetry of the loop at the bottom but not the top of the watch makes it looks really poor.

Really like the Milanese loop but I didn't want one as my first band as it kinda stands out.

I might pick it up shortly after launch depending on how popular it ends up being. Can see it being more comfortable in the summer over a leather band.

From looking at video clips and pictures I have a lot of admiration for the link bracelet. However, from the moment I spotted the Milanese loop in the Reveal video last year I knew without a shadow of a doubt that this was the band for me.

If you actually think about it, it isn't any cheaper. You have to remember that when you buy the cheapest stainless steel you are paying for the watch and the sport band. It is the same price to buy the SS with sport band and then a Milanese separately as it is to buy the SS with the Milanese and the sport band separately (US$748 for the 42mm)

If you are buying a Mayo Loop and a Sports Band, it is cheaper to buy the Watch with Mayo Loop, then buy an extra Sports Band than buying the Watch with Sports Band and adding the extra Mayo Loop (At least in the UK it is).

Numbers (in GBP) are;
Band Watch
SS SP 39 519
SS ML 129 599
SS LK 379 859
SB LK 419 949

So;
SS SP + ML 519+ 129 = 648
SS ML + SP 599 + 39 = 638 << SAVE £10 !

I'm sort of thinking cancel two watches and extras, save around 2k, buy the imac retina I was wanting anyways. lol

Try it in store instead of pictures . You might change ur mind

That's true but I'm betting there will be far more and cheaper plastic watch bands for me to exercise in than there will be a high quality Milanese loop.

I'm British too and it was the Milanese or nothing for me, needless to say like most Brits lacking of testicular fortitude is not something normally associated with ourselves so i bagged me one and delivery is Mid May

The OP is probably from somewhere like down South lol

I'm in the UK too. Much like a stereotypical villain in a U.S. Show I shall cackle at you sir Mwahahahahaha

I tried on yesterday and found the ML very comfortable and secure. I have hairy arms and did not have any hair gate issues.

My Apple rep was a woman and the first question I asked was if she'd had anyone get their arm hair caught in it. Then I noticed how hairy her arms were... :p :eek: She never missed a beat and said she had it catch on hers and a few other gentlemen but nothing too bad. :D
