Hi guys,

Suddenly I don't see my Apple ID balance anymore. Previously when clicking on my avatar in the App Store it got displayed at the top but it's just gone now and when I go into the menu to add money it says that my balance is "0,00" (which is definitely wrong). My balance also disappeared on my MacBook Pro.

The only way to see the correct balance is by going into the Apple ID settings in the Settings app.

The only thing that I did prior to this bug is to go into my account settings from the Music app. But I changed nothing so it might also be a coincidence.

Any idea on how to fix this?

Thanks and best wishes
Chris

Quick update: Signed out of the App Store and back in on all of my devices --> Balance still gone everywhere :-(
Update #2: Signed out of iTunes and back in on all of my devices --> Balance is back in the Mac App Store but still missing on my iOS devices.

So now I bought an app using my iPhone and instead of using the Apple ID balance it got subtracted from my Master Card :-( So as it stands I can’t use my leftover balance. Any idea what I could do?

Contact Apple? People on the Macrumors forums really can't help you with billing problems on your account. Only Apple can do that.

Okay, thanks. I thought maybe there is some known trick to get it to work again (maybe by signing out of a certain service and back in or something like that) but then I will contact Apple 👍

I think it is important that your next step will be to contact Apple.
You should find out if you really do have the balance that you think you should have (and that someone has not emptied out your account -- it does happen!)
Which leads me to the thought: Change your AppleID account password... could be just a glitch in the system, but don't assume that nothing is wrong with your account.

Yup, I will contact them.

I‘m sure that I should have the balance left that I think I should have left because I keep track of everything I spend. I also checked the purchase history.

Contacted them, the support person told me that she sees that something is wrong in my account and so she did something and now it’s working again after I signed out and back in on all of my devices 👍
