My apple Id is an expired <name>@me.com address. Will cloud let me reclaim that address for email?
 
I'm wondering the same thing, but I have an expired .mac address that I never renewed for when mobileme was introduced. I can't login via me.com, but I can in system prefs in OSX and it just says my account is expired.

I guess we'll find out on Wednesday.
