... they still work 100% they get up to full volume and the one click button to answer and end calls still work. WOW APPLE, I'm really impressed. 😀

The last time I had something survive a full wash was my old samsung cell that I got rid of years before the iPhone.

btw- could there be long-term effects or if they sound fine, there fine to use?
 
Yeah it's called rust =D

hopefully they'll be fine though.
well, i'm hoping that the dryer got rid of all the water before it could rust. I'm gonna get better earphones for the phone one of these day any way.
 
My iPod nano recently went through a full wash and full dry cycle. I let it dry for a good 5 days before recharging it and it works totally fine now!
 
my macbook pro remote ran through the wash...i took out battery and left compartment open, let it dry for around 12 hrs and its been working fine the past 6 months or so since its happened....never a hiccup
