My applications folder has disappeared from my dock

Hey everyone. Can someone please tell me how I can put my Applications folder back in my dock? I just looked down at my dock and realised that it is not there...I don't remember removing it so idk what happened. Any suggestions?

Restoring Folders to the Dock

Open Macintosh HD and drag the Applications folder to the dock, just right of the separator.
