So I want a 2G Touch 32GB painted black by colorware, this will replace my 5G 30gb video iPod. BUT! the question is should I wait for them to bump the storage? shouldn't it be happening soon? And the reason why I am painting it ( EVEN THOUGH SOME OF YOU DON"T AGREE ) is because I hate how the chrome scratches so easily and I DO NOT LIKE CASES. I have a SF sleeve for my iPhone 3G and I like using it in all it's glory, but do you think I should wait to order from colorware til they bump storage?

i don't think the paint will hide scratches as much as a $1 invisible film.

I think iPod storage is generally updated in the Fall, so if you want to wait until then...

Actually the iPod was updated to 32GB of storage for the first generation last Feb on the 5th of 2008

The paint they use is just as good of quality if not better than the iPhone 3G

The iPhone 3G back is not painted, it's a plastic coloured casing.
