I just picked up a brand new, 2.4g SR Macbook Pro from the Apple Store in Buffalo. I'm presently using Migration Assistant to transfer all the files and here are the first impressions: 1. The gray setup screen is not uneven the way some of my friends older MBPs are. No light bleed on gray, but I'll check on black after the MA is done with its jazz. I'm concerned because it doesn't seem as blindingly bright as some of my friends', but this could just be because of the muted setup graphics. 2. Packaging the same egg-crate style. I kinda miss the old bright white flap on my PBs packaging. Only difference on the box is the sticker. 3. I humped it. I'll let you know more when its up a purring. Thanks to everyone for indulging my threads these past few months.
