it probably protects just as well as the official apple bumper. People done drop tests on youtube and they survived waist high drops on solid concrete.

I bought this case for my 4s and I'm desperately trying to get it off. This fits horribly. The bottom piece doesn't match up and now the top part is stuck on my brand new phone and I have no clue how to get it off!

I bought this white case for my white 4s and really like it but the fit is definitely tight. I had it on for a week cause I actually tried a few times to pull off the bottom and couldn't get it to budge. I was really nervous that my phone would end scratched trying to rip it off. What worked for me was to use rubber dish washing gloves. They allow for a good grip. I tried to wiggle it a bit back and forth to get it to come free and it slid out. Thankfully with no scratches to the phone or case.

This is really a nice case and I will use it again but will try to loosen it up a bit by spreading it apart before putting it back on the phone.

I think the case wont scratch the phone because the case only contact with the metal band of the iphone and since metal is harder than plastic it wont scratch.
Anyone can confirm this?

I used these cases for months and it never scratched the band

I used the case with front/back protectors too and while it was tough to get off a little, you get used to it, and gets easier to take off

Also, with the casecrown glider, you DO need to snap parts of the case onto the phone, not just slide it on. It fits really snug, but it's a great case. I have the metallic purple and it's a gorgeous color.

CaseCrown 4s Slash metallic glider. Power Support anti-glare front, crystal back. Think I'll try out an SGP Neo Hybrid Snow Series next.

It's a little tight, but I wouldn't say it's difficult, but that's just me. I have strong hands. I have heard some people say they have a hard time pulling it off.

I've used the casecrown for months. The metallic one for me is as slippery as hell. As a result I dropped it twice on concrete, both times the phone came away without a scratch. Case was a little dented but phone was perfect.

Ordered a polycarbonate one instead of metallic and all is well.

My favourite case by far.

I have the polycarbonate one on my 4S and it fits very nicely. I haven't dropped it so I can't comment on the protection it provides but it is a tight fitting case so I cant imagine there is a ton of protection. I wish they didn't splash their name on the rear cover though... I hate that aspect of the case.

Would the glossy white or matte white lucky labs spectra wrap look better with this case under it? Thanks!

I don't recommend using any slider type cases with side wraps. They can peel them away and off when you slide the case in/out.

Bumper style cases work fine with side wraps
