Pen Cozy, Fisher matte black pen clip, and rubber grip from another pen!
You have everything covered except for one thing. A cap for the nib, lol
Right now I'm using a Sharpie cap!
to each his or her own...
Indeed. Some people choose to say nice things, others are like you.
Nice pencil mods!
I have the twizzler pencil. May look a little silly but the thin, extra long pencil bothered my hand when I used it for a long time. The grip making it thicker actually makes it perfect for me and no more hand pain. I love it now.
Where do you find the little pen cozy for the top? I like the idea of putting a grip from another pen - think I'll try that tonight.
The pencil cozy is on Amazon or direct.
I have a feeling I'm going to wrap duct tape around mine when it arrives to make it grippier without adding bulk. Then I'm keeping it in a Smencil case as some other poster suggested.. It's going to look pretty crunky. (what it looks like is largely irrelevant!)
As it has an internal power source, it never gets hot or anything does it? I'm guessing not. That's never been something I've had to think about with Wacom pens.
I think duct tape will probably leave a sticky residue on the pencil. If you decide to use a tape, try to get gaffer tape or painter's masking tape instead, which won't leave stickiness on the pencil when you remove it.
Mine with pencil skin from dbrand
Just use Goo Gone and any residue will be gone-gone.
What is your clear case on the iPad? And is it the 12.9 or 9.7.
I did the same thing with the rubber pen grip and the apple Pencil cozy for the cap and adapter. I didn't put a pen clip on mine though. I had a really tight Pen grip on it, but I couldn't get it through my Case pencil loop on the side. I found one from a little thicker Pen, that slides on and off easily. It keeps my pencil from dropping out of the loop, Pencil cozy on one end and the rubber grip on the other end. Works for me, not worried about it slipping out now.
I may have gone overboard. But I'm happy.
Whatever works! I figured out how to remove the clear grip from a Pilot Dr. Grip pen today, so I'm set!
Love it! You definitely made it your own.
Very slick! If they produced a skin to mimic a classic Pentel Quicker Clicker mechanical pencil, I'd be all over it.
That's great! What's the clip thingy holding the pencil to the case? :O
Got that from Amazon. I bought 3 different kinds to try.
The one pictured.
The metal version.
Stick on kind, which I haven't tried yet as I'm waiting for a case to arrive.
Nice skin. Does it add any grip to the pencil? It is too slippery for me the way it is now.
I ordered it anyway to try it out. Should come by Saturday according to tracking. The slickwraps version may have more texture for grip but I read that dbrand skins fit better overall.
My slick wrap arrived yesterday, but I'm sick with a summer cold and just haven't felt like getting it done.
That's the missing 'accessory' for my pencil. I tried caps from 2 different sizes is Sharpies, one was too large and one was too small. So you remember which kind you used?
I like the color coordination, well done!
Is that the Apple smart cover? If so, what color is it?
That is the Moko dumb cover.
I've finally settled on the Pipetto origami smart cover and affixed the permanent stick on kind to the back. Really happy.
