Don't deny it, we all have the morbid curiosity of seeing smashed up iPhones and hear the story about it just as much as we like to see little kids hit their dads in the nuts with a plastic bat. Post your stories and photos here. I'll start it off with a picture of a nicely smashed up iPhone. Not mine, but smashed up none-the-less ... and may I say ... Artistic?

My Friend drop his from is pocket (About 3 Feet) and it hit the corner, and the screen shattered.

He's waiting for the next one to come out now.
 
I don't wanna be a downer, but I'm sure I saw a very similar thread to this in the wasteland.

On the optimistic side though, here's my boss' 3G. Apparently he dropped it once causing the smash on the bottom left. A few weeks later he woke up after a night out to see the rest of it smashed up too. He doesn't know if he dropped it again or sat on it or what (he suspects a combination of the 2)

And why did I sneak a pic? He's not a very nice guy and I sent the pic off to my friend in a moment of Schadenfreude

My iPhone is quietly weeping. After he recovers himself we will probably have to have a moment of silence in honor of his fallen comrades.

And...where are the stories behind the pictures? All you did was gather a bunch of smashed up iphones off of the internet and posted them :confused:

Well, if there isn't one there yet.......maybe check back tomorrow and wait for this one :D

You know how if you have a carburator engine ( not fuel injected ) and you have to pour a little fuel into the carburator to get it started if you run out of fuel, prime it? That's all I was trying to do .... so other people could put up their pictures and stories.

Sorry for the confusion.

Yeah that was me, I had about 20+ pics and refernce links

I tried making a single centralized thread ( like the cracked plastic one)

But one person complained and got it sent to the wasteland

Apparently he and the moderators prefer a disorganized pile of mess over a single cohesive thread

I like your idea, that's pretty much what I was going for. I don't know why people seem to enjoy making 30 different threads on one subject. Like "0mGz!! New iPhone this summer, should I wait or get the 3G?". Oh well
