Too me a combo kit consisting of a IPad Pro in 12.9 inch micro led 4k, M1 chip, 8gig ram, 512 SSD, a Magic Keyboard, and the Apple Pencil price it at $1500 usd would sell like crazy.

I want 17”, and I want some sort of capability built in for using a Mac mini (for example) as a kind of cluster for it. Powerful enough on its own, but able to open a much more advanced version of sidecar to control macs, (the macOS as an app concept) and able to use attached macs to supplement iPad pro processing power.

I wish it was a 14” screen, widgets could use the entire screen, and 4K! I believe those last 2 are realistic though. Apple needs a stronger processor for running that many widgets

What I’d like to see is better external hardware support, better memory management and better file management. If newer CPU’s are what are needed to get that then so be it. Thunderbolt support for example, with the ability to drive a 4k monitor at native resolution completely independent from the iPad’s screen, running multiple applications either full screen on each or better yet split view on each with no danger of app refreshes due to memory management in the traditional mobile centric style.

Even mirror iPad at native resolution would be big, in my opinion. Based on what the iPad currently is, I couldn’t see them allowing the iPad drive an independent screen.

For me it’s an 11” form factor with an expanded screen (smaller bezels), micro LED, 8GB RAM, 512GB SSD, A14X chip, more than 10 hours battery life.

I’m tired of the same old “10 hour battery life.” I just want to see something like 12 hours so I know that I get some marginal increase and it can age more gracefully.

Micro LED might come on iPad Pro as soon as next year. Unless the battery tech improves significantly, or they enlarge the screen, I don't see the point for 4K on iPad - the current resolution is good enough if you're not a content creator. Also the A12Z (or A14X by then?) are more than capable enough for the IPP why would you need an M1 in there?

A 17" or larger option with more battery life would be more useful for most of us.

The chip upgrade is the only thing that Apple can really offer for upgrades other than software and display. The new chip should increase battery life and better incremental performance would mean RAM upgrades too. I assume smaller upgrades would be cameras and better LIDAR.

Until we see a new design, the A14X in the next Pro is probably going to be the only upgrade that really matters, and even then it won’t really be utilized properly until the OS is upgraded to make use of the chip.

I want one that fits in my pocket and expands via Face ID to 15". With one, no two month battery life. That runs macOS and iPadOS side by side, like Parallels lets me run Mac and Windows. And why not add that too, the ability to run Windows and Linux and MS DOS and Raspian and ... . With 128 GB RAM and 16 TB storage. For $500 ($400 on black Friday).

With the charger in the box ...

And a headphone jack ...
