Hey so im filming some friends riding their bmx bikes lately with just a jvc everio hard drive camcorder. im just getting into final cut express so i dont really know alot about it. if there is anything im doing wrong let me know what i am doing and why when i play my dvds back the frames are very slow and is very jump.
I plug my camera into the computer and it imports the video into imovie.
Then i export the video to final cut express.
I edit the video then i export using quicktime.
Then I create a menu in idvd and just drag it from the desktop to the menu and burn the dvd.
When I am watching the video on my computer in quicktime and final cut the video is really smooth and no problems. but when i watch it from the dvd it is just terrible and jumpy. any input would be a big help. thanks.

Are you watching the DVD's on your computer or on a DVD player?

Is the video smooth throughout the entire process until it hits a DVD?

Outside chance but maybe the blank DVDs were or poor quality. We had problems a couple of years ago with a project. We made a couple dozen DVDs for a school project. They looked great on the computer but played poorly on DVD players. The discount brand of blank DVDs was the problem. Might not be your problem but could be.
