iPhone X My experience with apple after issues with iPhone X

    I was have issues with iPhone X since i buy it notifications lock screen disappear i contact apple then Apple suggest to replacement with new one then apple sens me iPhone X with fedex yeaterday i received without box just the device with i put my sum card and i turn on the battary health 100% and i discover the iphone X is Refurbished!? after i checked the model number why apple send me a refurbished device not new one

    It is a warranty replacement and they only come in a white box. If your original had issues and you send it it and it’s not repairable they will just send you a replacement unit.

    What mean refurbished they change the battary and screen؟

    New battery, new casing.

    Phone is subject to extensive quality control tests that new phones are not. Any parts that fail are replaced with new parts. Phone is retested. If anything fails a second time they scrap the device and try a different one.

    If it passes the second quality control checks it's accepted as a replacement device.

    They are not refurbished. They are remanufactured.

    Quality control is significantly better for these devices than it is for new devices.

    This is true, they go through better testing than new devices. I have bought several remanufactured Apple devices and all have had zero issues. And they have the same warranty as a new device too.

    This depends on how old your phone is and where you live, in some European countries Apple have been told to replace with brand new phones now as they were using refurbished ones. Well if I remember the stories correctly anyway. But as I said it depends on how long you had the phone for before having issues.

    I’m going to worn you. I had the same issue. Turns out the software was corrupt and even a new IPhone won’t fix that. Solution was to completely start with a fresh version of IOS you can not do a ICloud back up. If you do it will come back after some time.

    I prefer Apple Special refurbished / remanufactured. And to do clean setup, no restores involved.

    That explains a lot. I have had to exchange every phone ive had since the 6 plus. Every replacement phone has been great. When i bought the 8 plus i even joked about them just giving me a replacement right out of the gate. They laughed. Two weeks later i had issues with my 8 plus. The replacement is perfect...

    I know it’s already been mentioned, Apples white box replacement iPhones usually always have two parts replaced: the battery and the display. The display for sure I have never not seen replaced on an iPhone and the battery is always tested at minimum, but even so, they typically replace the battery with a new one as well. But the biggest thing that you receive with Apple, is the customer service and the warranty. Because if something does go wrong, which it can; they will rectify it.

    Thank you all for replay now im with iphone X replacement about 3 days perfect there is no issue and the notifications lock screen work perfectly
