My eyes and brain feel so much better now that I'm using iOS 6 on my iPad 3 again. Keyboard in Safari has no bugs and responds instantly. Animations are 60fps. Gray UI easy on my eyes. Beautiful, classy UI chrome everywhere.

The future was good while it lasted. RIP Steve.

Funny, I feel the same way as you, but with iOS8 and not iOS6 which is dated and lacks the features that people are clamoring in a modern mobile OS.

To each his own, and if you're happy with iOS6, more power to you. I'm pretty pleased with iOS8 myself :)

I'm still living in it, you should join. But you'll need a newer iPad.

Did you downgrade back to iOS 6 using some time capsule? :p

Or did you purchase an iPad 3 which had iOS 6 and was never updated?

    Be more clear. :D

I find it funny that you think iOS 6 was the future when in fact it was designed the way it was to cover up the fact that screen resolution and technology was pretty crappy at the time.

It's like saying standard definition TV was the future before HD TV ruined it.

I am the complete opposite. Our iDevices at work were stuck on iOS 6 for compatibility issues with the company applications. This week they update all of the devices to iOS 8 and I am so grateful.

Having to use iOS 6 at work, and iOS 8 for personal devices, I could see the stark differences and why I am glad the past is the past.
