They ditched the iOS 11 feature where you close apps by pressing down, and then hitting the red -- at the top left hand corner. They went back to simply swiping up. MUCH EASIER. Hopefully whoever thought that was an improvement is now working at a Cupertino gas station.

Our year long national nightmare is over.

OMG! Really? I'll bet I can close apps .5 sec faster now. I won't know what to do with all the time I will save.
 
Was that an iPhone thing? I could have sworn I’ve been closing apps by swiping them up in the background task switcher for months on my iPad on iOS 11.
