Don't worry about the color, be happy that your parents will buy you a car!

right. i'm not being picky. a car is a car.
i just didn't know if one color was better than the other.
for example, i've heard that red cars have been known to be extra when it comes to insurance. i'll probably have this car for the next 7-10 years..so i want to make sure i'm making the right choice.

advice/opinions are always helpful. thank you!

I feel like I made the right choice. :D

Gold can also be a wicked colour.. but hardly EVER the OEM golds they offer.
One awesome shade of Gold is a colour from the tuner company in japan called Top Secret...... The colour is called "Top Secret Gold"

Red cars are not more expensive to insure. Don't base decisions on rumors and word of mouth, call a local insurance agent and ask them if its more expensive (its not).

I would never buy a new car (I'm guessing this is a new car?) in this day and age, so I can't agree with your choice but I'm sure you're happy. My car is 10 years old and still burning rubber with a 300hp V8... its the German muscle car.

Post pictures of your new ride!
