iPhone 16 Pro My first iPhone, get the new model or not

Hi everyone,

I have never owned an iphone, and am debating if i should get the 15 pro max or 16 pro. For me the 15 pro max is as big as i would want to use daily, so that's why i'm not even considering the new 16 pro max.
Both are the same price for me in the UK.

What are everyone's opinions?

I would have gone for a good ”refurbished” (eg Swappie etc) 15 PM. It’s more or less the latest iPhone and you get it for a good price, you can then try the iPhone world out and whatever happens you won’t make a big loss, and if you really like it you can always upgrade to the 17 in a year for example. Might not be in everyone’s taste but I think it’s a good advice imho.

I don’t see any logical reason to not get the 16 with a current promo.

They aren’t going to give away the 15’s

Even holding the 15PM and 16PM in each hand the extra size of the 16PM is very slight.

I don't quite understand your statement here. The 16 Pro Max is only 3mm taller and 1mm wider. Yes, it's bigger...but it's not going to be noticeable in the grand scheme of things.

Get whatever fits within your budget.

How about this. Wait until they’re in the store, go over there and hold them in your hands, and see which one you like. We can’t help you. We are not you. We all have our own likes and dislikes and we can’t handhold you with this decision.

I decided this morning and ordered the 16 Pro with 256gb of storage.

the size difference in the 15/16 pro max versions is negligible.... i'd say go for the 16 pro max.....

if you REALLY think you can't handle that millimeter of a difference... then the 16 pro.
