I'm running on the newest version of the MBP 13"
and recently i've downloaded CoD WaW (which doesn't support windowed mode) but i've seen people on youtube playing it on windowed mode so i looked up how to make it windowed and one way is but i didn't realize the guy was on pc until after and idk if that made the difference but when i did that, my laptop froze.. so i was like screw that..i then restarted my laptop and restarted the game and it ran fine again, but i looked up a different way, and i saw that if you hold Command-d while the game is opening it will give you an option to put it in windowed mode, and as i held command-d when it opened it restarted and all of a sudden it didn't show up. i hit f3 to see all screens and it showed my game as a large blue screen and i clicked it and nothing happened besides it selected the game. I could hear the audio perfect but there was no screen. It worked fine before i messed with it. the Command-d thing messed it up. So can anyone help? would be greaatly appreciated. I just want my game back. i've tried restarting my laptop, i've tried reinstalling a different version.. but it still did the same thing. all of my other games seem to work fine. I dont care if it's in full screen now, i just want my game to work again >.< - Thanks!

I think the guy in this thread was having the same problem: Maybe the two of you should get together on 1 thread, instead of making new ones...

Other than that, I guess you could try deleting and reinstalling. Just make sure you get rid of any and all files that might be installed somewhere else, outside of the app package.

EDIT: Also, you might gather more interest in your duplicate threads if you post a subject that is more specific than "My game wont show" in a forums section devoted to any and all games: Editing Thread Title

You are playing CoD waw on Mac OS?
If thats the case I guess you have the one from portingteam, then delete Call of Duty - World at War Preferences folder inside /Users/"your user"/Library/Preferences/

Also, you want window mode? Press apple+enter

yeah, if its a Cider based port, it cannot handle windowing.. its fullscreen, or a virtual desktop window only. Like Cluthz said, Cmd+Enter will toggle Cider between these two modes.

you'll find the full Windows game version inside the app... you right click on it and hit Show Package Contents. to find the drive_c folder in a Cider port, where the Windows version is installed at... its in Contents/Resources/transgaming/c_drive .. then the game is probably under Program Files, or something... the mods for some games have to go in there.
