I always enjoy reading other people's positive genius bar experiences, so I thought I'd post my recent experience too:

This Tuesday I made an appointment to get my iPod touch (4th gen) looked at because I was having severe battery drain issue and the home button was acting up. When I got to the Apple store, as I was getting out of my car, my iPod touch slipped out of my pocket and hit the parking lot face down. I picked it up and saw a shattered screen. At that point I thought my chances of getting my iPod replaced were gone. Still, I went into the Apple store and talked to the genius. I explained the situation to him. He told me to give him the iPod "face down so he wouldn't see if the screen was shattered or not" :D
He plugged it in and said the battery was indeed having problems holding a charge, and he immediately swapped it out for me. I went in there thinking I'd have no chance, and I walked out with a new iPod and a happy customer yet again.

Pretty sweet, Agent-P. Clearly Dr. Doofensmirtz blasted you with an -inator to make your iPT fall out of your pocket. :p

Of course! That would explain the whole thing. He must be thwarted!

He questions your veracity, Agent-P. Call him out! Honor must be defended!

I'll be your second for the duel. :p

Actually, he has steered me to the direction of the cause of this: my nemesis, Dr. Doofenshmirtz.

where does Agent-P hide his iPod? Perhaps under his hat? :D

Actually, I hide it behind my back (where I also hide my hat) :p

sometimes good things get reported & not just the bad & your story is very warming.

Having said that I have NO idea where the rest of this thread went to:D

Wow! that's awesome!

I hope that i have a similar experience when taking my expanding battery on my macbook in on sunday vice dropping it.
