She has a 1st gen iPhone, running 2.0.2.

Earlier today she texted me from the hospital she's working at, saying she couldn't get email, that her contacts were empty, and her calendars blank. She has sync set up for both.

I told her to toggle the account off/on in phone settings. No dice. I then suggested she toggle the specific syncs off/on in Mail/Contacts/Calendars. Still no dice.

Unfortunately she can't even log onto to mobileme.com on a computer until tomorrow (she's on night float at the hospital) to see if the contacts/cals are still there.

Anyone else experience this? Are her contacts/calendars gone from the cloud?

TIA

maybe the information is stuck in the cloud....

at any rate, just wait it out -- this happened to me once, but as long as MobileMe actually has the information, then it will come back to the iPhone.

Wirelessly posted (iPhone: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_0_2 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5C1 Safari/525.20)

When I set mine up in the beginning the calendars and contacts disappeared but came back after a little while. She may need to power cycle the phone to see if that helps.

Same thing happened to my because of a third party app. Got all my info back by deleting my account on the iphone and then resetting it back up. All my contacts then automatically downloaded from MM back into my iphone. Worked great. One of the main features keeping me with MM

Try removing the setting and then add a new setting. Do not toggle, it won't help.:)
