My hdd renamed itself "33" without my help? Could this signal problems? Would repair disk restore its original name?

I was wrong it did not change the name of the main hdd but it either renamed or created a new dsk in the subdirectory, I don't know if subdirectory is the right terminology but in disk utilities it is under the main hdd indented
