State of Denial
Man I feel old not being able to sort this one out. Here is the layout. 4 Lights with MeRoss plugs in two room. All connected to my Home account.

I have 5 other family members in my home. They all can control the lights through the Home app on their phone, but none of them can use Siri on their phones to control lights.

They get the message, "sorry I couldn't find anything like that you in your home"

The kicker is any of them can use the HomePod mini at my desk to control the lights through Hey Siri.

What am I missing? The wife is about to toss me out the bedroom if she can't get the lights to turn on. LOL

The last update has been causing some HomeKit issues for many. Try saying “Light” instead of “Lights.” If that doesn’t work, play around with the wording. You can also try rebooting their devices and/or the home network.

I’ve been having some issues too. What I have found to work is omitting to word “the” when giving a command. For example, I have a room setup as just our bedside table lights and they can be controlled individually. Prior to 14.5 we could say “turn off the Ojam light” and that would turn off the light. Now though we have to say “turn off ojam light”. It’s like the update removed an omission to consider the word “the” as not part of the device name but as part of the command.
