Hi All,

After praising iMacs for as long as I've had one it's never let me down. However I have a problem and it's a big one. My iMac has gone extremely slow, it won't open iTunes at all (I've tried to uninstall and reinstall with no change). It's just extremely slow in everything it does. This has happened since the latest updates with music and yosemitie.

I have no idea with Mac's and I'm not sure what to do next.

Thanks in advance.
Mat

iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.4)

Definitely check the SMART status as aliensporebomb pointed out - without knowing more information it's difficult to say but my first suspicion would be a fault with the iMac's built in hard drive.
