my imac

anything i should know before i get an imac? screen problems, video card, is that a good time to buy it?

im ordering it from apple own store

well for one you can order it now and still get leopard for like 10 dollars. I wouldnt pay to have the ram upgraded by apple, its way overpriced. For under 100 dollars you can get a 2gig stick of ram from owc

I received mine a few weeks ago, and am loving it.

I would like to suggest something. You are paying $150 to go from 1GB ram to 2GB ram. Just get your computer with the standard 1GB, and order 2x2GB for under $200 and install it yourself. So, for $50 you can double your ram.

I ordered mine from OWC and had it in 2 days.

I'd order now to have Tiger on there, and do the upgrade to Leopard for $10.

Tiger's rock solid, and not a shabby OS by any stretch of the imagination.

exactly i upped the ram on mine to 3 gigs about a week ago and wish i had done it sooner. For 100 dollars i got the stick of ram and it overnighted to my house.
