iPad My iPad Air Was Damaged.

Pick my new Air up this morning, found this when I opened it. Took it back and had it exchanged no hassle. Anyone else having problems?

They're churning out so many of these, can't say I'm surprised some will have dings.

To be honest if they'd been small marks on the chamfered edge I wouldn't have bothered, but this was quite a big ding. Anyway the one I have now is flawless.
And no I'm not OCD lol, well I am but......

I would have done the same thing. What's ridiculous are the photos where people have to circle or use arrows to point out the flaw.

Mine has a couple of tiny shiny marks on the chamfer but the screen is great so it's a keeper.

Mine was pitted all along the bottom just above the speaker holes and lightning port and also across one corner. Seemed like the anodising was rushed - probably an end of shift job.

The whole space grey anodising looked a lot less smooth and even on the back of the Air than on my 5s. In fact, it looked cheap.

tough break on the damage, i think you did the right thing returning it.

My space grey has a couple of small scratches on the back. Not the end of the world, but slightly disappointed. Mine looks more like a fingerprint indentation.
