ok, my lame joke aside... Anyone else have issues with the audio jack being 'blocked'? I checked with a flashlight, there's nothing in there, and there are no visible parts out of place, but for some reason I can't stick anything in there!! :( i hadn't dropped it or anything and I only noticed it just right now. Any help would be appreciated..

Turn it topside down and shake vigorously. I kid of course. Did it work before? Any chance it's debris from you bag?

Ironically, that actually worked.. I tried doing that before but I guess I wasn't shaking hard enough.. It was one of those silica gels that get put into bags and stuff for moisture absorption -_- I guess I'm a bit on the edge, given that I've only had it for a week...

Whoa! Glad it worked. Have an idea how that got in there? I wonder if those port plugs I used to see around would help.

Thanks for the concern, I'm trying to find one of those port plugs but they are all so... Feminine? (Only been able to find ones covered in sparkles and look like baby animals).

In terms of damage, the port is quite loose now and occasionally drops the connection :/ not sure what the Genius Bar verdict on this would be :(
