iPad My Ipad's (8 Gen) touch screen is not responding

Two weeks ago, suddenly the touch screen on my Ipad stopped working. After I connected my Ipad to ITunes I could use the touch screen again. Now it happened again, the only problem now is that I have a Passcode. I tried to update my Ipad, now it is in recovery mode and can't do anything on my Ipad. Anyone can help?
 
Plug in a USB keyboard and type in the passcode. You can plug a keyboard in to the Apple Lightning to USB camera adapter if you don’t have a keyboard with a lightning adapter or a Smart Keyboard.
