Hey guys I'm new on this forum and was hoping someone could help me out with this, my iPhone 3G keeps giving me error messages everytime I try restoring it on iTunes. Its been hours now it's stuck on DFU mode at one point it's just the apple logo and a swirling thing under it but nothing. I'll keep it short but basically it's not restoring. Can anyone please help? Thanks!!!

What error message is it giving you?

Go into your hosts file, (Google around how to do this) and delete any lines that contain "gs.apple.com", then try the process again. 😉
