My iphone 5c become hot and battery drain so fast even when I'm not using it. I never have this problem before. Please help me.

Try a hard reset (hold down home and power button for 10 seconds). This also happens to my 5s from time to time. I don't know what causes it; I suspect it's due to some rogue process and I cross my fingers that a reset will kill whatever that rogue process was.

Thanks. But I've try before. Seems like nothing changed.
 
go into settings and see what is consuming so much power.

When did this start happening. Did you do something just before that may be causing it?


I just update it via OTA. That's all. After that it happens my battery drain so fast after the update. Thinking of reset it as new phone. What do you think?
 
Go into Settings > General > Usage > Battery usage and look at what is using the most battery.
 
My 5c used to get hot when playing ram heavy games like Star Wars commander ect... Also when browsing for long periods of time on safari with white background.

That's normal if you play games. But in my case,it's hot even I didn't use it. Weird.
