My MB vzw 256gb 7+ just had cardiac arrest.

It started boot looping (completely out of nowhere - wasn't using it). Once or twice it got to the lock screen but would reboot.

Now, won't turn on at all. I've had it plugged into my iMac for a while and have tried a wall jack, too.

Anyone have this issue? Anyone solved this issue?

Asked for Apple Store appointment to fix?

Looks like some side effects of home-less button (;)) starts poping out.

No go on the hard reset. I've got it plugged in and I just saw the apple logo pop on screen but now it's dead again. Can't do any reset (though it is interesting to note that iTunes did recognize phone and on-phone images, movies, and shared albums popped up.

Called Apple - they're closed. Really frustrating.

That does suck, hopefully they can get a replacement to you soon.

Go into DFU mode?

  • 1) Plug your device into your computer with a MFi-certified Lightning cable and launch iTunes.
  • 2) Press and hold the power button and volume down button simultaneously until the display does dark.

No go, won't do anything.
[doublepost=1474774804][/doublepost]Now it pops into iTunes and there's a 10.0.2 update. Downloading now. Maybe that'll fix it. I know people who are less two faced than this phone...

Wow. Even if it works, I think I would return it. That is too much money to be having problems this soon.

Good luck.

Definitely return it. Apple warranty lasts only one year, that time goes quick. You just bought a very expensive gadget that isn't working; don't try to rescue it. Return it ASAP.

Have an appointment this afternoon if I can get there. It never did restore or update.

Very disappointed but I know they're good at Apple to replace dead units. Unfortunately I'm very familiar with AppleCare+ and dead launch units.

That's your best bet. I'm sure Apple will come through and replace it.

Sounds like a similar problem I had with iPhone 6 Plus. Screen suddenly flashed green briefly like the screen like the LCD screen went haywire...then black to the Apple logo - rebooting. Over and over. Turned out the battery was severely flawed.

Odd that it would be an issue on a brand new phone..whatever the case demand a new one.

I had a teal screen pop up. Lots of garbage. Going to do my best to get there on time.

What was the resolution for this? I have the same issue, 7+ 128gb started to boot loop (though it was installing 10.4 beta)....any fixes or will it have to go to ATT or Apple for a replacement?

Bad units happen. You just happened to get one. This is not something that happens often or we would be here more of it here.

Skip the drama and get it replaced.
