My iPhone always skips the number 30

Lol I thought I was the only one that noticed it. I have seen it do that everyday the last 2 months now.

Mine skips numbers too, usually ones lower than 50%.

My iPhone 5s seems to skip 60%, goes from 61% to 59% it's weird, but good to see I am not the only one.
Edit: It also skips 30%

There are about 3 or so percentages that get skipped in pretty much all versions of iOS 8. It's a known issue that's been there since iOS 8 came out.

As I recall, based on some iOS 9 beta feedback, the issue isn't present there.

No doubt. My 6+ battery last so long I seldom even look at how much power it has anymore. With the Apple Watch it last even longer.

I dont think anyone is worried or not enjoying their device, simply stating what they saw and seeing if anyone else noticed it.

And with many people still using iPhone 4S and 5 like my family where the battery hardly lasts, its something that is def noticed.

It's an iOS 8.x.x bug. Every version of iOS 8 is affected, iOS 9b1 is affected. I've heard iOS 9b2 fixes this but I have not confirmed this myself so no guarantee. These are all my known battery percent skips. 61%>59%, 55%>53% (heard of it but haven't confirmed), 31%>29%, 28%>26%, and I think there's one in the teens as well, like 18%>16% or 16%>14% or something. Yeah, a lot more than you thought.

As mentioned in some earlier replies, some have mentioned that it appears to be fixed in the betas so far.
