It could be true, but no pics at all? An aftermarket charger.. maybe, but again I would have posted pics of the phone and blisters. Blisters are technically 1st degree burn at least (the 1st layer of skin being damaged, causing blister and the 2nd layer being ok, or it can be damage then it being a 2nd degree)? It's been a while since I took a safety to remember this stuff, but to form a blister, it had to be pretty hot. Also you're using TapTalk, so you still have the iPhone? Something that hot I don't think it would be working correctly still.
Blisters also take 3-5 days to heal, this thread was started yesterday and it's already fading? Hmmmmm

I went to the OP's house and took a picture of his finger for all you skeptics. Enjoy!

It was probably the Coffee Warmer app you downloaded. You're supposed to put your cup on it, not your finger.

After having my iPhone plugged into a slow charger (my radio) and using Navagon while listening to music and having a conversation with a friend over Bluetooth, my new iPhone 4S burned me when I want to remove it from the mount. Should I worry about the glass exploding? It formed a nice little blister.

Pretty hard to believe the phone got that hot, and if it did the phone would have turned off and given you a warning.

The glass is tougher than your skin. You (or rather the glass) should be fine ;)

It's already healed, and I do understand the skepticism. My concern is that it will end up like one of those exploded ones where the batterys blew the glass to pieces.

It's healed in not more than one day? You said that the blister is disappearing 5 hours ago and now that it's gone. Bullocks. Go get a life. Or a real blister :D
Or even yet, a real iPhone.....

Well if your phone was really hot, you should have gotten a warning on your screen that your phone is way too hot to use and probably self-destruct in 5 seconds after that message.

Oh dear. What happened to you iPhone. Did it short circuit and turn off?

My thought is that any iPhone that became hot enough to form a blister would not be a working iPhone for long. Blisters are a second degree burn which forms immediately. Glass becomes hot enough to burn at a temperature of 257 degrees fahrenheit.

How long did you have the device plugged in?

My iPhone burned me

I love my iPhone 4. I couldn’t live without. It rocks. Except yesterday, when it totally burned me and made me miss my flight to shoot the Colts/Titans game up in Indy. I haven’t missed a flight in years.
