My iPhone cannot receive text msg from verizon.

I bought iPhone 3G s 10days ago and realized that I cannot receive
text messages from Verizon Wireless only.
But I can send text msg to verizon. Weird.......

I called AT&T customer service and visited AT&T store,
they did reset my network and changed SIM card, everything they could,
but AT&T couldn't solve that problem.

Now, I have just 2 choice.

1.Go to apple store and fix it.(if it can be fixed.)
2.Exchange for new one,before it's too late.

But, I hope it will be settled easily.
Anyone can help me?

May be a foolish question, but did you try to text some other Verizon users? Just thinking it could be that persons phone having issues. Just a thought.

Otherwise, Apple will take care of you.

I have some friends who use verizon wireless. I already checked them up.
I can send text to them, but I cannot receive text from them.
If continue this situation, I might don't have friend who use verizon.

I would ask one of your friends to call Verizon customer services and complain that they cannot text your number, see if it's at their end.
