my suggestion is to focus on your circle of influence. nothing here or on youtube will stop the world as we know it from spinning.

The screen you posted were on a iPad......do they work the same on the IP6?

To get weather...its on my screen...right where i am most of the time.
The Google search widget is what activates Google....i just say the phrase "Ok Google" its easier.....I don't need to touch anything.

I prefer iOS's implementation as I can access the widgets from anywhere. I could be in the middle of a game or in the browser and can swipe down to see all that info without needing to leave the app.

With Android, I can pull down my notifications panel and my widgets often have been configured to show me the most important information right there. ie...weather, to-do list, sports updates real-time, network connection status, etc. too. All are right there with a simple pull down regardless of what I'm doing. We have the option within most every widget to turn that on or off. I can even pull down on it and click on the Textra + sign and compose a text without having to exit what I'm doing. When it sends, I go right back to what I was working on.

Android offers just as powerful and simple of an interface though and one that's more configurable as the notifications and widgets aren't only controlled by the OS but by the user through the OS, widgets themselves and managers available in the play store.

iOS has a great interface but it's really no different in the end. One advantage to Android however is the user is in control and configures things the way they want it to be vs having to wait for Apple to release a feature they way they see it working and still offering no fine tuning of controls. That's why I call my Note 3 the Smarter of the smart phones out there. It's me the user in control, not the phone or the OS.

Feel free to post any examples for discussion. I'm open to learning more how users of both are leading more productive days with the tools they have.
