What the hell is wrong with kids these days? I don't care where you are; if it's worth typing, it worth typing well. Capitalization and periods add pauses and intonation to what you're saying, like in speech. Don't make us guess what you mean.

By the way, I typed this on my phone. It wasn't hard to do.

Okay mum I gonna add capital letters to every beginning

Agreed, I like to make sure that people read my words as I would intend to say them... Adding "..." at times where I would pause.

Example: When I am texting my girlfriend, I will send several messages instead of one long one so it is easier to read and make sense of what I said. The only draw back: it has now become a habit... I have some friends whose phones still do not show text messages in the "conversation" format... So breaking up the messages confuses them sometimes.

Pretty much how I feel about this thread.

Sorry Want300 but you know I really like to write signs (e.g. ...).
Its part of how I usually draft my writings when I am typing sth with e-devices. Of course there are some exeptions like typing with girlfriend, parents or doing scholastic achievement...But on chat or sms with my best friends I try to draft it quick.

I wasnt trying to attack you or anything. Sorry if it came across that way.

The biggest problem with text, emails, chat, letters, etc... Is "tone"

I was one of the first buyers of the iPhone 3G in mid 2009 but I never get rid of it anymore, the problem on myself is that when I see the product itself, I really want it. That was the fact at the iPhone 4 which has been announced to the crowd at WWDC mid 2010. During the show I knew I want to have the white iPhone 4.........

I would go and find an older 3GS that's still in good condition (or buy one unlocked, it's 189$ at newegg) and use that until the next gen iPhone comes out, that way you can enjoy iOS 5 and then when the new iPhone comes out you won't be locked into a new contract and you've saved money.

Maybe if the OP doesn't like periods, this might be useful:

I love you man. It makes me sad that you are the first one which replied to one of my questions :'(
I also sometimes thought about getting an 3GS but I never really knew if the battery life is still in that area like it was 3 years ago when they announced it.

"one of the first buyers" in mid 2009 of a device that was released July 11 2008?

yeah I didn't know when it was released... Okay I edited it so it's our lil secret :)

You know, when I first read this, I thought "OK, English is not this guy's first language so be patient". Then you come back with it is, and that you don't like to use punctuation, or correct spelling, or grammar and you hit us with a wall of text that makes little to no sense.

Perhaps if you want people to take your post seriously vs you looking like a grammar troll, perhaps you should take the time to put forth an effort.

From what I did understand about your post, you didn't upgrade because the phone wasn't white and would other people wait?

Some did. If you need a new phone, get a new phone.

Lay off the drugs son.

Coming to America?
"Oh sir, the Giants of New York took on the Packers of Green Bay. And in the end, the Giants triumphed by kicking an oblong ball made of pigskin through a big "H". It was a most ripping victory."

OP, by saying you don't like using periods you're simply saying you don't like being literate. Sorry you're having so many issues.

haha, that is why I asked him if it was his first language....even still I don't believe him.

Hey it's not a crime to not speak English and post in here. But the last time I looked, punctuation was international!!

I don't either, there is no way someone could express themselves that badly in their native tongue.
