My iPhone Won't Connect to iTunes

Recently, I upgraded Windows 10, I can’t sync their iPhone on my computer. If I click on the iPhone I can see all of the associated screens for what is on my iPhone and do a back, upgrade, synch, etc. However, if I click and go look at my iTunes library, the iPhone button/icon is gone and I can't go back and see it do any of the related activities.

i am using iTunes 12.6 for Windows, download from https://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

I'd try removing itunes and reinstalling the latest version.
Something is not right on that PC.

My guess is he reinstalled iTunes but would be nice to post and let other know what ended up fixing his issue
