My iPhone won't sync!!

Well I've just found out that my iPhone won't sync to my Mac through it's USB ports or my displays USB ports, its not the cord I've tried 4-5 and they all work on other iPods, it probably isn't the USB ports so much ether because I have an external HD and another iPod hooked up successfully right now. Would anyone know what is wrong with it? Oh yeah and the iPhone changes through the AC adapter. 😕 Thanks.

assuming you have not updated to 1.1.2.

you need to go into recovery mode and completely restore from there, I dont remember how to do it, but a quick google search should tell you

Before restoring try resetting the iPhone and restarting your mac. Maybe reset your PRAM as well

I found shouting at it helps! then storming off with the hump & my wife then does it. 🙂
