My iPhone X impressions so far..

Decent initial review. As for next year, there is no doubt that Apple will have a larger (6.4) model offered alongside a 5.8 iPhone. As the OP stated, Face ID will continually be updated for any inconsistencies through software updates as well.

That's what I'm hoping for a 6.4 inch display in the size of the current plus.

I just got back from the Apple Store and saw the X. First impression - It reminds me of the old skool iPod Classic.There's some slight DNA from it - maybe the shape, IDK. I can't point it out specifically, but overall, I was very impressed with the design. The notch didn't bother me. I didn't even take notice of it until I returned to Apple later again. Not a deal breaker for me.

I am moving forward with the X in the Sim-Free version though. I like it in Silver - it looked more like an Ivory Gray and the color definitely looked lighter from the Silver 8/8 Plus. I like the stainless steel trim over the Space Gray with the PVD coating.

A few more days with the X since launch, this thing is impressive!
I will say I think wireless charging is probably one of my favourite inclusions! I know the 8 has this, however coming from the 7 Plus, and never using it previously, it is glorious !!!!!

After a full day with the X, I'm happy with it. Initially I was a lil taken aback by the size to size comparison of my 7plus and the X...imo the X especially this silver, is a beautiful piece of technology...I've gotten used to the no home button and face id....I also have the iPad Pro and mini iPad....so it's kinda interesting to go from no home button and Touch ID to no button....I can't wait til face Id has been incorporated into more apps...(banking and other password apps) cause without Touch ID, I have had to use 4 digit codes....I like the form factor and I'm able to type with one hand more easily with the X than with my 7plus...it's fast, it's beautiful and the perfect size for me...it fits in my pockets a lot better.

I knew from day one I wanted the silver....this phone is beautiful! I wish I could not carry it in a case to show off the stainless steel sides.....
