iPod touch my ipod touch won t get back to its menu

Hey there, I bought a new Ipod touch 10 days ago, and since this morning it just stays in its play list and won t go back to the menu, i just don t seem to figure it out where the problem could be. could someone please help me???? thx already

Depending on which version of the OS you have, hold down the Home (front) button for five seconds (2.x) or Hold the Power (top) button until the Power off slider appears, then hold Home to quite an the app.

Alterantely, hold Power until the slider appears, then choose to power off your iPod. Wait a few seconds and press Home & Power to turn it back on.
