So I found out today in my car, shortly after it was working perfectly, that the headphone jack in my iPod touch is messed up. I plugged in my line-in through my car, then my headphones, so I'm pretty sure it's not the cables. I can only describe what it gives as a trebly, faint sound, rather than the full sound I usually get. If I put on the connector on the headphones, the sound goes normal, but just leaving it to its own stuff produces an obnoxiously quiet, ghostly sound. Don't know what the hell happened.

Edit: The sound also goes normal if I put the headphones in, but don't actually put them all the way in.

Ugh, well. I called Apple and turns out I need to go to the Apple Retail Store that I just went to yesterday to get it fixed/replaced. Just wonderful. I love hour and a half drives...oh wait.
