my itouch would suddenly print screen

My itouch would suddenly print screen even if I am not pressing the print screen buttons (power and home button). It would do this continuously at times even interrupting my itouch games or videos. Then it would just stop. Then it would print screen again. Hope someone can help me with this problem. Thanks

nope, it's not jailbroken .. version 4.2.1

I think it's also related to "turning off" the itouch. There are times when "slide to turn power off" would appear. It uses the same home and power buttons. 🙁

Do a DFU restore, that'll fix it if it's a software issue. If it doesn't then it could be a hardware issue with a flaky home button.
